Assistant Accountant

Our client is a well-established, growing company looking for an extra member of staff to join their friendly accounts department. You will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Financial Controller with month end and year end procedures
• VAT returns
• Approving invoices and sending payments
• Accruals management
• Covering purchase and sales ledger
• Banking entries and reconciliation
• Reporting and analysis

The company work on a hybrid basis, so you will need to have set up to work from home circa 3 days per week. You will need strong previous accounting experience, and ideally be CIMA / ACCA part qualified or similar.
