Description:	Permanent Assistant Accountant job - Paying up to £33,000 + study support Your new company Hays are working directly with an organisation in Tamworth who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. Your new role Assist with the production of month end accounts up to draft P&L for UK and Ireland Processing month end journals Balance sheet reconciliations Variance analysis Ensuring tax compliance at all times in UK & Ireland (VAT, CIS, RCT) Cash forecasting Fleet management analysis Business partnering with the wider business Assisting with preparing Year-end audit files, ensuring all information and supporting documents are electronically available, in accordance within the agreed timeframe Assisting others in the Finance Team with any other duties as required, including the upkeep of electronic filing Promote and advocate continuous learning Document & maintain current processes and procedures Any other ad-hoc duties What you'll need to succeed High attention to detail Ability to prioritise a heavy workloadAbility to follow company policies Inquisitive natureGood excel skillsDemonstrate flexibility.
