Our leading Commercial Broking client with a presence across East Anglia is looking to recruit Commercial Account Handlers.

In these vacancies you will be either dealing with local Business Clients across a range of Industries, or larger Corporate clients, so there are vacancies to fit the experience you currently have and also room to progress and develop.

You will have an enthusiastic client focused approach and the ability to support colleagues within a close knit team.

A blend of home and office working will be available following initial training.

Areas of Responsibility as Commercial Account Handler:

  • Ensuring all client records reflect the current risk on cover at all-times, including accuracy of sums insured, extensions and exclusions
  • Liaising and negotiating with Insurers and inviting renewal of clients' policies
  • Checking new policy documentation for accuracy and forwarding to clients or liaising with Insurers
  • Processing mid-term adjustments and quarterly declarations
  • Providing support for Account Executives when required, when obtaining new business quotations and arranging cover
  • Dealing promptly with clients' enquiries in a friendly, professional and timely manner
  • Providing support to team members to ensure client needs are met, particularly during peak periods or in times of absence
  • Developing and maintaining strong client and Insurer relationships

To be successful as a Commercial Account Handler you will demonstrate:

  • Commercial Insurance technical experience
  • A desire to develop strong Client and Insurer relationships
  • Good negotiation skills
  • The ability to support colleagues in a close team environment
  • Excellent organisational skills
