Head of Financial Planning, Corporate Reporting & Projects

There is now an exciting opportunity to join the Trust as a Head of Financial Planning, Corporate Reporting & Projects. This is a senior management team role where the post-holder is responsible for leading the monthly reporting process for the Trust, delivering clear reports on the financial position to the Trust Board, internal and external stakeholders. This post will also provide expert, specialist, and in-depth financial advice and support to the Operational Division, Head of Financial Management, Chief Financial Officer, and senior Operational and Clinical managers.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Overall responsibility for Trust-wide budget setting to ensure a timely and accurate plan is submitted to Trust Board and to NHSEI.
2. Lead the completion of the annual planning regulatory reporting returns to NHS England.
3. Support with the development of medium- and long-term financial models, underlying position, and key sensitivity and scenarios modelling.
4. Manage the Trust's monthly reporting and forecasting cycle, ensuring that all financial information is meaningful and produced according to agreed reporting deadlines.
5. Ensure financial governance of the Trust-wide efficiency programme.
