Role Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience in Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll. The successful candidate will manage bookkeeping duties and ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records using Sage Line 50.
Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and submit VAT returns.
Handle the full payroll cycle using Sage Payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and pensions.
Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
Generate and distribute payslips.
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes.
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll management.
Proficiency in Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of current payroll legislation and VAT regulations.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
