UK Tax Associate - Full Time
Up to 33,000
Hybrid - Flexi Working
Sutton, London



The Role

  • Preparing Self-Assessment Tax Returns for our more complex clients
  • Liaising with HMRC regarding client's tax affairs
  • Liaising with clients regarding their UK tax returns
  • Preparing advisory reports for internal review
  • Researching technical queries
  • Assist with any digital tax disclosures required
  • Prepare and review Capital Gains Tax calculations and returns
  • Being a point of contact for tax queries for the wider team
  • Training more junior members of staff

About You

  • You will have at least 2 years' experience of dealing with UK taxes
  • A familiarity with basic accounting principles & financial statements is desirable
  • University degree or 3 good A-Level results (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and client management skills
  • Able to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player
  • Confident, positive, professional and can-do attitude
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Excel and able to pick up new IT packages quickly
  • Create a positive impression with clients and staff
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proactive approach
  • Enjoy developing junior staff
