Connaught Education is currently supporting a prestigious independent senior school and sixth form in appointing a Finance Officer on a full-time, permanent basis, this is an immediate start for the right individual.

The school in question is a large coeducational independent senior school and sixth form, with an exceptional track record of results and some of the best facilities of any independent school in London. The school continues to grow and thrive with partnerships across London and a reputation for being one of the best employers within the sector.

The appointed Finance Officer will manage the nominal and purchase ledgers, ensuring that all journals and invoices are processed promptly, accounts are reconciled and payments are made accurately.

The successful Finance Officer will have the following:

• Degree in accounting
• Excellent financial knowledge
• Be part qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
• Significant experience of bookkeeping/management accounting, monitoring budgets, and setting/adhering to financial controls
