Hays are delighted to be working with this manufacturing company based in Doncaster to recruit an Assistant Accountant

Your new role
Daily tasks include:

• General ledger management, including processing journals and reclassifications
  
• Balance Sheet reconciliations including Fixed Asset register maintenance
  
• Assist with the preparation of the Management Accounts
  
• Produce monthly reports for internal and external projects
  
• Bank reconciliations and cashflow reporting
  
• Assist with production of annual budgets and forecasts
  
• Assist with the operation of the Time and Attendance system
  
• Assist with the annual audit process
  
• Provide occasional cover for sales and purchase ledger work
  
• Additional ad hoc projects and reports
  

• Part Qualified with AAT, ACCA or CIMA
  
• Proficient in Maths and Financial Systems
  
• Experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role
