Semi Senior Accountant Job

Location: Nottingham - Full Time

Salary: 25,000 - 32,000 depending on experience

An independent accountancy practice in Nottingham is currently searching for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their Accounts team.

The main duties of the job include:

• Working within the Accounts team
• Bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Accounts prep and production with some help from the Senior team
• Helping with client queries on the phone and over email
• Working with a range of clients including small sole trader accounts, company accounts etc.
• Working on accouns from a variety of different sectors
• Having a portfolio of clients to manage, and working within their agreed budgets and timelines

Their ideal candidate is someone who:

• Has at last 2 years of practice experience
• Can do Bookkeeping, VAT returns, Accounts prep/production and client liaison
• Local to Nottingham
• AAT qualified

The practice is based a couple of miles outside of the city centre, with parking.
