Trainee Mortgage Advisor

Red Recruitment is recruiting a Trainee Mortgage Advisor in Fareham, Hampshire to join an established and successful team in an award-winning mortgage brokerage.

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate who wishes to pursue a career in the financial services industry and is willing to study and work towards gaining their CeMAP qualification.

The salary is 25,000 per annum with an OTE of 30,000. The salary for this position does increase after the training period and will continue to increase as you develop your career.

• Salary: 25,000 per annum OTE of 30,000
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm and 11am - 7.30pm and 1 in 4 Saturday's 9am - 1pm
• Contract Type: Permanent

• After the training and probation period your salary will increase to 27,000 per annum with uncapped commission

Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Mortgage Advisor:

• Responding to customer enquiries and identifying customer needs
• Passing clients through to speak to a fully qualified mortgage advisor
• Acting in accordance with regulatory procedures
• Placing outbound calls to potential customers

Key Skills and Experience of a Trainee Mortgage Advisor:

• You should be currently studying for CeMAP or be willing to study for this
• Strong track record in generating sales
• Previous telephone-based experience would be advantageous
• Proactive with the ability to use own initiative
• Recently graduating from university is preferred but not essential
• Being organised with the ability to manage own workload is required
