A Credit Controller job in a leading technology business in Southampton
Your new company A market leading technology organisation in Southampton requires a Credit Controller on an initial 12-month basis. Your new role You will be responsible for ensuring that cash generation into the business is maximised and that aged debt is minimised each month. You will be required to ensure the customer accounts are managed efficiently and payments are received promptly.
Resolving customer queries
Actively chase overdue customer accounts via letter, telephone and email
Reduce shortfalls and ensure dunning and late payment processes are followed
Provide information on late payers and issues that may prevent trading to the Sales Department
Promote and focus on the company's direct debit facility, which must be operated to a high standard.
Process and manage Direct Debit payments
Post and allocate payments received to the bank
Carry out credit checks and risk management.
What you'll need to succeed
You will require the right-to-work in the UK, along with prior experience in a credit control position.
Prior experience chasing overdue invoices and reducing debt
Good MS Excel Skills
Great communication skills
