Audit Senior

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audit Senior with 1 year of PQE to join a well-established accountancy firm. This role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £38,000 - £42,000.

As an Audit Senior, you will support audit engagements, manage junior team members, and ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.

You will be responsible for:

• Planning, fieldwork, and completion of audit assignments.
• Delegating and supervising tasks for junior team members while reviewing their work.
• Drafting statutory financial statements from comprehensive client trial balances.
• Identifying client needs, offering technical solutions, and collaborating with managers to implement these solutions.
• Preparing and/or reviewing corporate tax computations and returns.
• Monitoring and managing progress against budgets.
• Using CCH Pro Audit for audits and Digita for financial statements and tax returns.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as an Audit Senior, Audit Supervisor, Audit Semi Senior or in a similar role.
• At least 1 year of PQE.
• Possess audit experience gained within a medium-sized or large firm.
• Must be qualified ACA / ACCA accountant (or equivalent) with recent qualification.
• Ideally have background in charity or not-for-profit audits.
