Group FP&A Manager

Gleeson Recruitment Group as working in partnership with a high-growth PE backed business in the Black Country, who are looking to appoint a Group FP&A Manager in a newly created position.

The Role:
As the Group FP&A Manager, you will report directly to the CFO and take ownership of all group-level financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. This role is central to driving business insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust financial management across the organisation. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, and work closely with various departments to deliver high-quality financial analysis and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Deliver insightful financial analysis and reporting to the executive team, providing actionable recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
• Develop and enhance financial models to evaluate business performance and guide decision-making.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Coordinate and consolidate financial information from regional and departmental teams.
• Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integration planning, as required.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate investments, projects, and operational initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.

About You:

You are a results-driven finance professional with exceptional analytical skills and a passion for driving business performance. Your expertise in FP&A and ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders will set you apart. To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A recognised professional finance qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Proven experience in FP&A, preferably within a multinational or complex organisational environment.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive and strategic mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo.
• Experience with financial systems and tools (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, Power BI) is an advantage.
