Risk Lead

Our client, one of the world's leading financial institutions, is seeking a Risk Lead to join their Global Data & Reporting Operations team in Chester. This is a 12-month fixed term contract, with the potential for extension.

As a Risk Lead, you'll play a vital role in identifying and mitigating risks, improving controls, and maintaining operational excellence. You'll partner with Global Data & Reporting Operations teams and senior leaders to enhance the risk and control environment in line with the enterprise risk framework.

• Partnering with GDRO functions and leadership to provide guidance on risk and control issues.
• Coordinating regulatory exams, audits, and risk assessments.
• Developing and maintaining process management frameworks.
• Collaborating with Audit, Compliance & Operational Risk partners.
• Ensuring compliance with critical deadlines for risk identification and remediation.
• Excellent communication skills to drive risk-based decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Proactive approach to continuous learning and development.
• Knowledge of Global Markets products or support functions and operational risks.
• Previous experience in improving processes and driving change.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to change.
