Finance Manager

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions and processes within the business. A strong emphasis is placed on people management, and the successful candidate will be a skilled leader who enjoys training, coaching, and collaborating with both their team and the wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of finance professionals.

  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and ongoing support to enhance team performance and growth.

• Payroll Management

  • Prepare payroll for processing by the external payroll provider.

• Financial Accounts & Processes

  • Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes.

  • Prepare and deliver financial accounts and reports.

• Audit Management

  • Establish and monitor internal audit processes, including team training.

  • Collate and manage information for external audits, liaising with auditors throughout the process.

• Job Profit Reporting

  • Design, implement, and oversee systems for individual job profit reporting.

  • Train team members and ensure effective monitoring.

• Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare management accounts and analyse financial performance.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

• Cashflow & Budgeting

  • Create and monitor cashflow forecasts and foreign exchange procedures.

  • Develop and oversee budgeting processes, ensuring compliance with filing and payment deadlines.

• Financial Modelling & Data Analysis

  • Develop financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
