Senior Credit Control - Birmingham city Centre

Exciting opportunity for experienced Credit Controller for a successful business based in Birmingham City Centre. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and energetic candidate who can take ownership of the Ledger and improve/increase collections.

You will have full responsibility for the credit function including:

  • Manage and take ownership of a complex ledger.
  • Chase overdue payments via phone, email, and post.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information within CRM systems.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Meet overdue recovery targets using a structured and methodical approach.
  • Identify and resolve barriers to payment effectively.
  • Proactively manage customer accounts to minimise outstanding balances.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders other internal departments

Person/Experience Required:

  • 2-5 years of experience in credit control.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships.
