Overview:

Joining as a Travel Claims Handler means stepping into a key role as the initial point of contact for customers facing unexpected challenges during their travels. This role goes beyond processing claims; it involves empathising with customers, understanding their unique circumstances, and guiding them through the claims journey to make a positive impact.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Claims Evaluation: Evaluate claims and verify insurance policy coverage via email and telephone.

  • Information Gathering: Collect necessary documents and information to proceed with claims.

  • Efficient Resolution: Resolve claims efficiently and provide first-class service.

  • Customer Communication: Handle high call volumes and emails, providing clear verbal and written guidance.

  • Customer Focus: Ensure the claims process is customer-centric, empathetic, and effective.

  • Upholding Company Values: Represent the organisation's values in every interaction.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: High competency in computer usage.

  • Experience: Previous call centre or customer service experience preferred.

  • Communication: Confident and clear communicator with exceptional verbal and written skills.

  • Organisation: Highly organised with good attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

  • Customer Focus: A natural flair for empathising with customers and a passion for making a difference.

  • Adaptability: Ability to switch between handling telephone calls and emails seamlessly.
