Assistant Accountant Salary: £26,000 - £28,000Location: WrexhamSector: Construction This position would suit an individual with all round experience in accounts, bookkeeping and purchase / sales ledger. Candidates applying should ideally have their AAT qualification or an equivalent accountancy qualification. Duties & Responsibilities
Answering purchase/sales ledger queries
Reconciling supplier statements and payments
Reconciling bank balances
Assisting with transactional processing duties (posting and raising invoices, credit control etc.)
Weekly external payroll payments and journals
Prepare monthly and annual ledger reconciliations
Intercompany journals and recharges
Allocation of expenses and credit cards
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Have experience in a similar role
Be AAT qualified
Sage 50 experience would be desirable
Experience working within the construction industry would be desirable
Experience working in an SME would be desirable
Have strong interpersonal skills
