Salary: Up to 45,000 P/A (Dependent on Experience)

Hamilton Woods Associates is partnering with an established client in North Leicestershire to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified, finalist, or newly qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) looking to take the next step in their career and gain valuable senior experience.

• Ensure accuracy and consistency of the general ledger and master data.
• Perform monthly closing tasks, including settlements, depreciation calculations, and foreign currency revaluations.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries with appropriate authorization and supporting documentation.
• Produce and distribute weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Complete intercompany reconciliations for balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, loans, and interest.
• Carry out account reconciliations with clear and justifiable reconciling items.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation issues in a timely manner.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and assistance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand key objectives and operational metrics.
• Contribute to additional projects and shared accounting duties as required.

• Part-qualified, finalist, or qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver impactful presentations.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting and analytics.
• Experience with integrated digital accounting systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of managing multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proactive and forward-thinking, with a passion for continuous improvement.
