A Bit About the Job In this role, you will report directly to the management team and take on a variety of responsibilities, including: Assisting in the preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Preparing management accounts Bookkeeping Preparing VAT returns Assisting with corporate and personal tax returns General office and administrative duties
A Bit About You We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: Qualified by experience or currently working in an accountancy practice Open to school leavers, college leavers (HNC/HND), and graduates A positive attitude and the ability to work using your own initiative Strong communication skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage Line 50, and IRIS (beneficial, but not essential) Comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel
