About Our Client

Global Investment and Corporate Bank, seeking a maternity cover contractor Operational Risk and Control VP.

Job Description

The Operational Risk and Control VP will:

1. Be responsible for the quality assurance testing program for the UK Risk team.
2. Develop quality control policies and standards.
3. Establish, maintain, and monitor KRIs/KPIs for the UK Risk team.
4. Manage the resolution of control weaknesses and implement improvements to ensure quality delivery, maintenance of the issues and improvements log.
5. Conduct the UK Risk RCSA ongoing assessment of department compliance with applicable Bank policies and procedures.
6. Oversee the local Regulatory Compliance Programme.
7. Perform regulatory horizon scanning to capture all relevant publications of PRA, FCA, Basel, or other relevant bodies.
8. Coordinate continued maintenance and update of the enterprise repository for regulatory requirements and controls for the Risk Management Function.

The Successful Applicant

For the Operational Risk and Control VP:

1. Operational Risk 2LOD experience.
2. Banking products experience - Capital Markets or Corporate Banking.
3. RCSA leading and understanding.
4. Financial Services background.
5. TPRM experience is useful.
6. Immediately available ideally.
