Turner Lovell are recruiting a TP137 M&E Site Manager, experienced working on projects in the M&E phase of works, on a HV substation site in the Southeast of England. The Site Manager will be involved in M&E works on an existing substation (132KV).

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, drive safety standards, provide leadership to internal resources and demonstrate excellent communication skills to all key stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Acting as Principal M&E Site Manager (TP137) on a HV Substation project
Management of site workers, subcontractors, and all general works on-site
Ensuring Safety documentation (QA plans - ITPs and Risk Assessments / Method Statements) are developed and enacted on-site
Help to reduce construction-associated costs
Planning and programming of current and future works
Completion of As-built drawings for handover files
Requirements:
Current authorisation to National Grid TP 137/SR163
At least 5 years Site Manager experience on UK M&E projects
Existing substation or refurbishment/extension experience up to 400kV is desired.
Hands-on experience with electrical components, wiring and installation.
Qualified to a suitable level in Mechanical, Electronic or Electrical Engineering discipline.
Knowledge of NEC contracts & Health, Safety and Environment legislation
Experience in Cost / Value Reporting
Ability to organise resources, set out priorities, and work within budget & programme timescales
Understand and interpret construction phase & site quality plans with quick mobilisation ability
Full Driving Licence essential
