Description: | Job Title: Personal Tax Advisor Position Type: Full-Time Location - North West London Salary - £55-60k Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Personal Tax Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing personal tax returns, providing expert tax advice, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent client service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Must have experience within compliance tax, 3-5 years or more would be adventageous. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file personal income tax returns for a diverse client base. Review financial records such as income statements, expense documents, and previous tax returns to determine the correct tax filing. Advise clients on tax planning and tax-saving strategies. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and clarify complex tax issues. Represent clients in dealings with tax authorities, including audits and inquiries. Identify opportunities to optimise tax positions and mitigate tax liabilities. Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial data and client information. Assist clients with tax-related questions and concerns throughout the year, not just during tax season. Collaborate with other team members and departments to provide comprehensive financial solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) qualification preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal tax preparation and advisory services. Thorough understanding of UK tax laws and regulations. Proficiency with tax preparation software and financial analysis tools. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of integrity and professionalism in dealing with confidential information.
