Assistant Accountant

PE backed services company based in Woking are looking to recruit an ambitious Assistant Accountant, this is a rare opportunity to gather a wide range of finance experience and study support for your ACCA or CIMA qualification.

What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Ownership of the balance sheet and financial accounting thereof.
• Ensure financial control processes are adhered to by the wider finance team and support the Group Financial Controller in overall financial governance
• Support lead for coordinating with wider external audit team
• Preparation of financial statements for various entities within the Group
• Taxation compliance support and lead contact with Group s external tax advisors to complete the preparation and filing of Group corporation tax returns and associated filings

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• AAT qualified with the ambition to continue ACCA or CIMA
• Strong IT skills including advanced Excel
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central desirable
• Passionate about delivering excellent service
