Assistant Accountant

FinTech RS are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Assistant Accountant based in Turriff, Aberdeenshire on a Permanent, Full Time basis.

Main duties include:

• Assisting with Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
• Assisting with Preparation of Final Accounts to Statutory Level Ready for Audit
• Assisting with Preparation of Management Information and Costings
• Cash Flow Forecasting
• Budgeting and Variance Analysis
• VAT Returns
• Sales Invoicing
• Sales & Purchase Ledger duties during busy periods
• Holiday Cover for Purchase Ledger function
• Month End Reconciliations
• Credit Control and Sales Ledger Receipt Allocation
• Process Credit Card Statements, Fuel Sheets, Inter-Company Recharges
• Assisting members of the accounts team as required

Suitable candidates should have the following:

• Prior experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with month end reporting processes
• Experience with Sage accounting software or similar
• Keen analytical skills and attention to detail

Candidates should be based locally to Turriff, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
