Are you an experienced Bookkeeper who ideally has experience in the Lloyd's/London insurance industry?
If yes we have a fabulous immediately available opportunity to work for a Lloyds Underwriters in their Syndicate Accounts team!
You will be working 60% of the week in their offices in the City of London EC3 and 40% at home.
You will have experience of handling banking transactions both UK and International. You will be posting accounts onto their SUN 6.4 system - it would be ideal if you have Sun experience already or another similar package and you MUST have strong Excel and Outlook skills.
The role is very varied and and will suit someone who is used to working to deadlines and can multi-task and is comfortable with a busy and changing workload. An enthusiastic and positive approach is key to fitting into this friendly and hard-working team.
You will have exposure to working with other colleagues across the whole of the finance team and they are happy to assist with your future studies towards ACCA/ACA or CIMA if that is the way you would like expand your skill set in the longer term.
That said they are also more than happy to recruit someone who loves being a book-keeper and would want to commit to this long term. They are not concerned about you having specific accounting qualifications as your knowledge and experience is the key requirement.
They are offering a competitive salary of 40,000 - 50,000 ( max) based on your knowledge and experience and this role is available now!
