Job Title: Accounts Senior

Location: Rotherham

Remuneration: 35,000pa plus 31 days holiday (including bank holiday) free parking, study support, flexi-time and much more

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, VAT returns, tax returns, and management accounts
• Conduct regular and thorough analysis of financial data to identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management and clients
• Collaborate with clients and provide expert advice on financial matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in legislation to ensure the provision of accurate and timely financial information
• Work closely with colleagues and contribute to the smooth operation and growth of the team

Skills Required:

• Extensive experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Proficient in using accounting software including Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with clients and colleagues
