The Management Accountant is a vital member of the Finance team, working closely with the Head of Finance, team colleagues, and department heads across the organisation. This role offers a high degree of flexibility, affording the successful candidate the opportunity to work from home predominantly with a minimum requirement of 1 day in the office per month, whilst also giving a clear path for progression in the near future to a Head of Finance position. There will also be the opportunity to travel to their sites in areas of Scotland that many do not get the opportunity to do in normal working routines. The Management Accountant will oversee financial planning, monitoring, and reporting within the organisation. They will work in collaboration with the Head of Finance and other department heads in areas such as Curriculum, Infrastructure, HR, and Marketing to ensure that targets and objectives, as outlined in the operational plan, are achieved efficiently.
