One of the UK's largest and most respected food service companies, is seeking a talented and dedicated Credit Controller to join our dynamic finance team. They are seeking a Credit Controller to join their office based in Southport.

Description

You will be responsible for:

• Ensure customer debts are paid in a timely manner
• Manage the collection process while maintaining good customer relations
• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
• Regularly make contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
• Issue monthly customer statements
• Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits
• Handle disputed accounts and negotiate to bring payment into line with terms
• Provide accurate advice on billing queries

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

• A strong background in Accounting & Finance
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of relevant software
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
• A solid understanding of basic accounting principles
