Assistant Accountant

CMA is partnering with a fast growth manufacturing business based in Waterlooville to recruit a newly created role of Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will report into the Financial Controller.

What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Daily postings to the bank.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Balance sheet reconciliation.
• Ownership of credit control function.
• Assisting with purchase ledger.
• Month end including fixed assets, general ledger and prepayments/accruals.
• Ad hoc duties.

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• AAT/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience;
• Sage experience would be advantageous but not essential;
• Manufacturing experience is desirable;
• Growth mindset and ability to grow with the role as the organisation grows.
