Our Internationally renowned Client is seeking an Accounts Administrator to join them at a busy time for their Accounts Team.
As Accounts Administrator you will be involved in:
Processing bank payments and reconciliations
Supporting the Financial Accounting Team to deliver the core financial data, both internally and externally, by maintaining accurately and timely records for the business
Purchase ledger management - reconciliation to supplier statements, processing and payment matching to ensure information is live
Sales ledger management -credit control, maximising receipts and avoiding bad debts
Update daily cashflow model
Manual general ledger journal entries (95% are automatically posted)
Credit card reconciliation and recharge to employees as appropriate
Processing of ad hoc bank payments and weekly BACS payment runs
Support in the preparation of monthly financial information
Assist with annual statutory accounts preparation
The ideal candidate for the role of Accounts Administrator will be:
CAT, part ACCA qualified or senior bookkeeper qualified by experience
Highly numerate and experienced in Excel, coupled with a good level of proficiency across the full MS Office suite
Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills aligned to the needs of the role
Able to communicate confidently and coherently to key stakeholders, many of whom will not be members of the Finance team, therefore, will need to be able to put key concepts into layman's terms
Adapt at problem solving, coupled with the ability to hit the ground running and get quickly to the heart of matters and solve issues pragmatically
Engaging team player with the desire to learn and develop an understanding of the department responsibilities and support colleagues in delivering those
