Description:

Our client has been trading for over 30 years and they are now looking to recruit an Accounts Bookkeeper / Office Manager to oversee all general accounting and the day to day operational management of the office. This is an office based role working Mon - Fri 8:30 - 4:30.

This is a highly varied role split between general accounts work and office management.

Typical accounting duties will be:

  • invoicing and order processing
  • matching financial documents for customer and supplier accounts
  • supplier payment runs
  • payments & receipts
  • bank reconciliation
  • company card receipts and employee expenses

Office management typical duties:

  • Supervise daily office operations and ensure the teams efficient workflow.
  • Liaise with multiple departments to ensure stock and order processing are kept up to date
  • Oversee human resources functions such as recruitment
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and suppliers to ensure any issues re dealt with in a timely manner to reduce any costs to the business
