Eharo is a Private Equity Investment firm based in London, dedicated to investments in technologies and financial services.

Essential Experience:

  • Demonstrable investment experience in Private Equity buyout or growth for technology or financial services sectors.
  • A proven track record of sourcing, executing and managing PE investments.
  • Minimum 10 years' working experience in investments, with a minimum of 7 years working experience in PE funds.
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment and work independently with deadlines requiring a quick turnaround.
  • Demonstrable ability to independently source deal flow.
  • A good understanding and practical experience of core relevant investment sectors.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong analytic, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Must have strong intellectual curiosity and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Core Responsibilities:

As a Private Equity Principal / Director of Investments, you will be working directly with and supporting the CIO of the fund. This is a senior role, and your main responsibilities will include sourcing investment opportunities, reviewing/discussing them with the CIO, and presenting your findings to the entire Investment Committee. Once approved, you will have the responsibility to lead the transaction execution for a successful acquisition.

  • Conduct sourcing, investment research, due diligence, and analysis of potential investments and develop investment recommendations.
  • The role also includes advocating for operational and process changes to move towards a more data-driven organizational paradigm.
  • Financial analysis of potential investments and lead the due diligence process for potential investments from start to finish.
  • Work with the team's researchers and analysts to verify the best opportunities.
  • Stay up to date on developments within the industry.
  • Provide forward-looking views with a high degree of transparency to Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders.

Please be aware that this is a very senior role. For the right candidate with the right background, there is the opportunity in the short term for the role to grow and could include joining the management team in charge of all LBOs and Growth Equity Funds at the firm.

Compensation:

  • Competitive basic salary.
  • +OTE generous additional annual bonuses on top of basic salary, and generous % of GP Carry Pool.
