Finance Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced and motivated finance professional to take on a new role within the finance team of a long standing and well established fresh produce business. This position will partner closely with departmental management to drive effective decision-making and optimise business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring strong collaboration and performance within the business unit.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term scenario planning to protect against risks and maximize opportunities.
• Ensure accurate costings while providing the Commercial teams with vital information to drive negotiations, maintaining tight governance to protect margins.
• Use data-driven analysis to identify areas for improvement and work with management to address underperformance or capitalise on opportunities.
• Maintain full control over balance sheet risk and opportunity, ensuring management is informed and action is taken accordingly.
• Oversee the production of accurate and timely financial information, driving actions and decisions in the best interest of the business.

Is this you?

• Strong experience as an accountant with excellent data analysis and financial skills.
• Exceptional communication and influencing abilities, with a proven track record of building trust and challenging stakeholders.
• A solid understanding of retail product costings and margins is advantageous.
• Previous experience managing a team is desirable but not essential.
