Commercial Account Handler

Here at Abbeyfields Services West Midlands Ltd we have been rapidly organically growing and we're looking for a highly experienced Commercial Account Handler to join the team and help deliver great outcomes and best customer service as possible.

The role sits under our team at Wedding Insurance Group and responsibilities will include assisting with day to day requirements including taking new business calls and completing fact finders, rating up policies with our in-house delegated authority underwriting binder, selling new policies to clients, managing MTAs and renewals including producing the documents.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Use our in-house underwriting guide to rate and accept risks for new business
• Process MTA's
• Contribute towards the team's renewal retention targets
• Work with clients to explain products and cover to ensure they are insured correctly
• Liaise with insurers to ensure referrals are back in a timely manner or push claims along
• Working in a compliant and timely manner to meet our SLA objectives
• Complete on the job training and FCA compliance modules such as Financial crime, Conduct rules, Vulnerable customers training
• New business quotes and account handling for non-scheme business such as property owners

About you:

• You should have a solid basic knowledge of commercial insurance products and be looking to further this knowledge as your career progresses
• Be able to work efficiently and in a timely manner
• Experience of using Open GI - but not necessary as training can be provided. Good knowledge of Word and Excel
• Be able to communicate clearly with Stakeholders at all levels and confident on the telephones
• Have experience using a Delegated Authority binder - but not necessary

The role is 100% office based. We are located in Halesowen - B63 3RD.
