Assistant Financial/Treasury Accountant - Interim - Hull

Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnered with an large reputable organisation based in Hull. We are recruiting for an Assistant Financial/Treasury Accountant on long term interim contract.

Description

You will be responsible for;

• Preparation & submission of weekly GBP & Euro cash-flow forecasts
• Treasury tasks, set up payments in GBP and foreign currencies
• Perform bank & cash reconciliations
• Input of accurate & complete data to the General Ledger cash book
• Assist with monthly preparation of timely management information
• Collate data & post accurate month end journals, assist with detailed balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with preparation for year-end audit & timely resolution of audit queries
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Preparation & maintenance of prepayments & accrual schedules
• Preparation & submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Ad-hoc internal financial information requests

Profile

The successful applicant will be;

• Experienced in financial accounts
• Passionate about technology
• Intermediate with Excel - pivots, Vlookups and formulas
• Part Qualified, Qualified or QBE
