SAP FICO Consultant (Controlling Specialist)

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant, specialising in Controlling (CO), to join a leading niche consultancy based in Watford. In this role, you will be responsible for optimising the Controlling module within SAP FICO, working closely with clients to configure and implement solutions that enhance financial and cost management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP FICO Implementation: Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP FICO, with a particular focus on the Controlling (CO) module.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate directly with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored SAP solutions.
• Process Optimisation: Identify and implement improvements in cost centre accounting, internal orders, product costing, and other controlling processes.
• Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring successful and timely implementation.
• Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to help clients maximise the benefits of SAP FICO.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other SAP consultants to ensure seamless system integration across modules.

Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in the Controlling (CO) module of SAP FICO.
• Proven experience in implementing SAP FICO, with a focus on controlling processes.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to optimise financial processes and deliver efficient SAP solutions.
• Familiarity with SAP integration (SD, MM, PP).
• Experience in project management and the full project lifecycle.
• SAP FICO certification (preferred).
• Previous consultancy experience is advantageous.
