The Role
As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable function, leading a team of six assistants, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier payments. You ll play a key role in driving efficiency and process improvements within the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and setting up new supplier accounts in line with company policy
  • Overseeing the processing and authorisation of supplier invoices through the Templa system
  • Conducting supplier statement reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies
  • Ensuring timely month-end closure of the purchase ledger
  • Leading and developing the Accounts Payable team through regular reviews and appraisals
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc analysis and project work


What We re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable leadership role within a medium/large organisation
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and financial systems
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookups)
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
