Our client, a leading global technology company, is seeking a highly motivated Finance Analyst to join their dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced financial professional to contribute to project profitability analysis, financial reporting, and process optimisation within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register business opportunities and projects in Salesforce and SAP.
  • Manage the Project Master Tracker, ensuring accurate records of billing, sales revenue, costs, and expected profit.
  • Process direct costs, including purchase order requests and inspection request submissions.
  • Verify expense details and manage intercompany cost recharges.
  • Prepare billing and upload invoices to customer-owned systems.
  • Support project managers in managing accounts receivable (AR) overdue.
  • Create rolling financial plans and monitor revenue and cost recognition.
  • Assist with month-end financial closing, including labour cost allocation and accrual preparation.
  • Generate financial reports, analysing variances between forecasts, annual plans, and actual figures.
  • Prepare the annual financial plan for the following year.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications (essential).
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is desirable.


Hours & Benefits:

  • 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility required for urgent projects.
  • 25 days plus bank holidays.
