Job Title: Equity Settlement / Operations Analyst
Location: Basildon, Essex (Full-time, office-based with onsite free parking)
Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 per annum

The Role:
A leading investment management firm is seeking an experienced Equity Settlement / Operations Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will manage portfolio transfers, process reconciliation reports, and ensure accurate settlement processing and reconciliation of transactions. You will also liaise directly with clients and investment managers, assisting with Crest settlements, trade booking, and responding to queries. Your role will be essential in maintaining high operational standards and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee portfolio transfers in and out of client accounts
• Process reconciliation reports and handle unit trust/collectives settlements
• Assist with Crest settlements and trade booking
• Ensure adherence to processes and regulations
• Respond to queries raised by clients and investment managers
• Demonstrate commitment to delivering good outcomes for clients, in line with Consumer Duty and FCA regulations

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3-4 years' experience in equity settlement, with knowledge of UK and international securities
• Familiarity with systems such as Euroclear (Crest GUI), Objectway (Altimis), and Allfunds
• Strong numerical, analytical, and IT skills (including MS Office)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proactive, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Team-oriented, with a collaborative mindset
• Financial services qualification or equivalent
