Background

• AAT qualified or part qualified CIMA/ACCA
• 3+ years experience as a management accountant delivering P&L's/balance sheets with experience of budgets/forecasts
• Excellent excel skills with experience of building reports
• Experience of reconciliation, maintaining financial controls, managing accruals, journal postings, cost management and project accounting

Duties

• Reporting to the financial business partner, you will be maintaining financial controls and communicating results with all management levels
• Lead the production and delivery of accurate management accounts and weekly KPI's
• Manage accruals, prepayment and balance sheet reconciliations with journal postings
• Cost management and project accounting
• Monitor and report on variances to budget
• Oversee production of weekly creditors reports for review and reconcile to control account
• Completion of company VAT/Intrastat returns for submission to HMRC
• Management of company bank accounts
• Responsible for the management of the AP ledger
