Seymour John have been retained by our client based in Shrewsbury to secure a Senior Tax Associate for their growing business based in Shrewsbury.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for preparing complex tax returns and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. Key responsibilities will include:

• Tax preparation and review
• Tax compliance
• Tax planning
• Client management
• Tax research
• Tax provisions
• Process improvement
• Project management

Personal Profile

The ideal candidate will have in depth knowledge of tax laws, a keen attention to detail and the ability to provide advice to clients. You should have 3-5 years of experience within an accounting firm, alongside your AAT/ATT qualification and open to studying further. We are looking for a strong team player with excellent communication skills who is well versed in analysing tax issues to provide solutions.
