We're the market leader in the UK fresh prepared food industry - supplying meals, salads, desserts, pizza and bread to leading grocery retailers including Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury's and Waitrose. Bakkavor Devizes in Wiltshire specialises in making delicious chilled desserts such as tarts, yum yums, doughnuts, crumbles, pies and pastries. The site employs over 600 people and is close to Swindon. About the role. Working within the dynamic operational environment at the Devizes site, you will lead a small team in supporting and driving the continuous improvement agenda for the business. As a true business partner to the Operations Managers, Operational Excellence managers and the wider Operational teams you will influence decision-making that drives factory efficiency and value-added activity that enhances our operating model. Accountabilities
Ideally you will have previous experience of a similar role within a fast-paced food manufacturing or FMCG environment. You'll have experience of factory performance, labour efficiencies, material variance, standard costings, experience working with large data-sets, P&L and interpreting data into insights. You will be qualified or working towards relevant qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent and possess the ability to manage large volumes of data into usable formats. Excellent communication, analytical, customer service and Excel skills will be key. What you'll receive.
