Description

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings.
• Help with the maintenance of the general ledger and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments and receipts.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for month-end close.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis for management.
• Help with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in audits by providing relevant financial data and documentation.
• Support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and improving internal processes.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and reporting as required.

Profile

• May be studying towards an Accountancy qualification.
• Some prior experience (1-2 years) in an accounting or finance role is preferred but not essential.
• A keen interest in accounting with a desire to learn and develop professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-financial stakeholders.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.

Job Offer

Assistant Financial Accountant - Salary: 25,000 - 30,000
