Accounts Senior

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Accounts Senior who will provide exceptional support to the Accounting & Finance department of a professional services firm in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and experience of delivering year end accounts.

Description

• Overseeing and managing financial accounts.
• Preparing financial statements and reports.
• Assisting with budget planning and financial forecasting.
• Auditing financial information and processes.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Providing financial advice to clients.
• Coordinating with the finance team on various projects.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on industry trends and developments.

Profile

A successful Accounts Senior should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, AAT).
• Excellent understanding of accounting and financial principles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
