Management Accountant

Reed Finance is working with a key client based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit a Management Accountant on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The role is based in the organisations head office and provides high quality technical support through insightful analysis to support operations within a strong internal control environment. The role will lead on the completion of specific statutory financial returns.

The post holder will support the Head of Finance in co-ordinating all month-end activity across the organisation. Our client offers hybrid working with 2/3 days required in the office. The role offers excellent benefits with 41 days holiday per year and an excellent pension. Our client is ideally searching for candidates with immediate availability however would consider candidates with a one month notice period.

The main responsibilities the positions entails are:

• Consolidate, review and challenge the monthly results and full year forecast
• Prepare the monthly reporting pack for review
• Contribute to the improvement of all aspects of financial management reporting
• Consolidate the budget inputs for review
• Provide robust analysis of the budget inputs
• Preparation and completion of statutory financial returns

To be considered for the role, you must possess the following:

• Either a fully qualified or qualified by experience accountant
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders
• No more than a one month notice period
