Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)

Anderson Knight are currently recruiting for a part-time Assistant Accountant based in Glasgow city centre. The role offers 22.5 hours per week and a salary of up to 33,000 pro rata. You would be required to be in the office 3 days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions for the company and parent company.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and coding of invoices.
• Maintain company ledgers and ensure compliance with sales terms.
• Process and post payments, invoices, income, and receipts in accounting software.
• File historical records and retrieve documents when necessary.
• Monitor debt levels and assist in reconciling inaccuracies.
• Support the development and monitoring of budgets.
• Prepare information for auditors, VAT returns and FCA returns.
• Provide administrative and clerical support as required.
