As an Assistant Accountant, you will: Credit control including reviewing and amending customer credit limits as and when necessary Bank Reconciliations Assist and cover all Purchase Ledger tasks as and when required Support with the monthly financial close process, ensuring all deadlines are met Support and cover Payroll Other ad hoc duties as required To be successful in this Assistant Accountant role, you will ideally have/be: AAT qualification (qualified, studying towards or working at an equivalent level already) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and accuracy The ability to work independently and within a team, with strong communication skills Proactive and hands-on, with a can-do attitude This fantastic opportunity is easily commutable from Pickering, Malton, Helmsley, Thirsk, and surrounding areas.
