Accounts Payable Specialist

Search Recruitment are excited to partner with a well-established law firm in Manchester to find a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in accounts payable, particularly within the legal industry, to join a forward-thinking firm that offers flexibility and great benefits on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will be responsible for the accurate processing of invoices and payments, working closely with internal teams and suppliers, ensuring compliance with the firm's financial policies and procedures. You'll efficiently manage expenses and approvals, making it an ideal role for someone familiar with the platform or eager to develop their skills further.

Key Responsibilities:
Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions, ensuring all payments are made in a timely manner.
Manage expenses, ensuring compliance with firm policies and SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority) rules.
Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports, providing insights into accounts payable balances.
Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve queries and ensure smooth communication.
Maintain up-to-date records of supplier accounts and reconcile them regularly.

What We're Looking For:
Experience in an Accounts Payable role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with SRA rules and financial regulations within the legal industry is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment and manage workload independently.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with vendors and internal teams.
