About the Role

An exciting position has emerged for a detail-oriented Legal Cashier to join the accounts team of a forward-thinking practice in the Southwest of England. This role offers excellent prospects within a growing firm committed to providing exceptional service to its expanding client base.

Legal Cashier Responsibilities

• Process and manage daily financial transactions including client account operations
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and payment processing with precision
• Maintain comprehensive compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and relevant regulatory frameworks
• Develop and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation
• Support budgeting processes and financial planning initiatives
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders on financial matters
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems and processes

Legal Cashier Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Legal Cashier within a solicitors' practice
• Comprehensive understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules and regulatory requirements
• Exceptional numerical and analytical capabilities
• Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills
• Proficiency with legal accounting software systems
• Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills
• High level of professional integrity and confidentiality
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy
